When Lars-Erik Bloomberg stepped up to the plate in April he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Dutch Developmental League Batter of the Month award.

The young Rotterdam shortstop posted a .382 batting average with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 10 runs. Bloomberg also worked pitchers for 2 walks to post a .404 on-base percentage.
