Hackzell Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, April 21st, 2040 Petri Hackzell exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Brawlers Academy. The Belgium Academy second baseman had a field day in the 14-2 triumph over the Norway Academy Berserkers, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Hackzell must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Petri Hackzell hit a solo-shot off Ganya Lyadov in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
