Plavsic Propels Norway Offense in 20-3 Rout
|
The Norway Berserkers defeated the French Generals, 20-3, at Valhalla. Norway right fielder Jovan Plavsic had a superb performance. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. The win gives Norway a record of 5-3.
Plavsic made an early impact for Norway when he stroked his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Berserkers on top, 4-1.
"They licked us pretty good," said losing manager Ben Tennyson.
