Norrköping played host to Grenoble at Frozen Ropes Stadium.
The Norrköping Frozen Ropes picked up a win at Frozen Ropes Stadium, taking down the Grenoble Terriers, 2-1. Starting pitcher André Gansah was a big reason why. Reliever Ulrik Svendsen picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Alois Hollar took the loss. Pavel Schwarz collected save number 3.
Veniamin Vechirsky drove in one run for Norrköping. The 15-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Alois Hollar. It was his 5th RBI of the season.
Gansah said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
Grenoble drops to 7-6.
