Shortstop Rasmussen goes 4-for-4, Steals Spotlight in Norway Rout
|
Tommy Rasmussen was instrumental in his team's 12-2 triumph over the Berlin Brewers. The shortstop went 4 for 4 with a triple and 3 singles, while scoring 3 runs for the Norway Berserkers. Yvain Daddi, the winner, goes to 4-1. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts over 5.2 innings. The save was credited to Daryl Martin, his 2nd.
Early in the game, Rasmussen had a run-scoring triple for Norway. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Berserkers on top, 1-0.
