Dutch Developmental League Names #1 Pitcher in April

Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Sokol Haxhi, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Alkmaar Spurs closer, 22, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .170 average and walked away with the Dutch Developmental League Pitcher of the Month award for April.
Haxhi posted a 2-0 mark and a 0.67 ERA in 8 relief appearances. In 13.1 innings, he had 4 saves, 10 strikeouts, and 1 walk.
