McCarthy's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback

Dublin Celtic Warriors second baseman Brian McCarthy is not healing as well as expected as he recovers from a strained hip muscle and will miss an additional 4 days as a result. McCarthy had been working with the team medical staff, but was taken to a specialist as a precaution. Examination revealed more damage than originally thought.

McCarthy is batting at a .339 pace this season, picking up 21 hits in 62 at-bats with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
