The Zurich Grasshoppers picked up a win at Nestlé Field, knocking off the Norway Berserkers, 2-0. Starting pitcher Nile Lach played a key role in the triumph. The loss makes Norway 5-4.
Lach scattered 2 hits over 7 innings for the Grasshoppers. Now 1-1, Lach has struck out 4 this season.
"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Lach told the Zurich Bulletin. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
