|
Almere Wild Horses starter Lewis Millar worked his magic, as he helped his team defeat the Amsterdam Tritons, 3-1. In 6.1 innings, Millar surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The win puts Almere at 8-7.
In the bottom of the seventh, second baseman Ewalt Gardner hit a run-scoring single to right. The single, which was hit off of Klas Blomqvist, gave Almere a 3-1 lead.
