Walk-Off Win Makes Almere 6-6
|
The Amsterdam Tritons got a superb performance from pitcher Veit Pachmann. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Almere. The Wild Horses won the game, 5-4. Pachmann threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The win gives Almere a record of 6-6.
In the bottom of the tenth, Telma Cselik had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a 2-run home run to left-center off Amsterdam pitcher Klas Blomqvist.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Cselik said in his postgame press conference.
