Robertson Lit, Fighting Scots Win, 7-0
|
The 7-0 Livingston win over Parma was due largely to Aaron Robertson. The Fighting Scots second baseman was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Fulvio Broccoli got the save, the 1st for him this season. The loss puts Parma at 2-4.
When the Fighting Scots needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Robertson who delivered. Facing Parma pitcher Sam Green the bottom of the eighth with the bases loaded, Robertson hit his 3rd home run of the year. It made the score 7-0.
