Comets Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Thun
|
The Kiev Comets defeated the Thun Parrots, 6-1, at Comets Stadium. Kiev right fielder Christopher Harris had a superb performance. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Ludvig Olmqvist, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. The defeat makes Thun 1-2.
Harris had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Comets went on to win.
"I felt good up there," said Harris. "I saw the ball well."
