Osprey Roll Over Golden Knights, 9-3

The Charleroi Osprey withstood an impressive performance by Vigo center fielder Boryslaw Kalisz to defeat the Golden Knights, 9-3, at Osprey Stadium. Kalisz went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2. Scott Carmichael notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 5 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. At 5-2, the Osprey have played well so far.
Lucas Bouchard's at-bat in the bottom of the first inning was a big one for Charleroi. Coming to bat with no one out, a runner on 1st and Charleroi trailing 2-0, the left fielder hit a run-scoring triple.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Bouchard told the Charleroi Gazette.
