Unicorns Dump Ålesund, 5-2, to Win 4th in a Row
|
St. Gallen picked up a win at Unicorns Ballpark, toppling the Ålesund Angels, 5-2. Pitcher Jordan Low was one of the reasons the Unicorns triumphed. St. Gallen reliever Jordan Low got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Bernd Krook was tagged with the loss. Caoimhín Kent earned save number 2 this season.
St. Gallen grabbed a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the sixth when Anders Moltke hit a 3-run home run. For the day, Moltke went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
Low told a St. Gallen Today reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
The Unicorns raised their record to 4-0.
