The performance of Maikel Jansen proved critical in helping Porto beat Norrköping, 6-1. The Vandals first baseman slugged 2 home runs. The Vandals, now 3-1, have hit the ground running this season.
In the top of the sixth, the Vandals took a 4-0 lead when Ali Andersen hit a 2-run home run.
"You score one run, you're not going to win," said Norrköping skipper . "You can have three Koufaxes and three Drysdales, you're still not going to win."
