Luchadores Win Nail-Biter, 6-5

The game ended in walk-off fashion, much to the delight of the home crowd.
Despite a great performance by Dublin left fielder Freddy Kelly, the Valencia Luchadores defeated the Celtic Warriors by the score of 6-5 at Dublin Dome. Kelly was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Francisco Hernandez got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings.
Joaquín Jerónimo Piña was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for Valencia. With no one out and the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, Piña, who is tied for 10th in the EBF in RBI with 18, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Dublin hurler Battista Bernoldi, he hit a solo home run to give the Luchadores a 6-5 lead.
"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager JJ Williams.
The loss makes Dublin 10-14.
